Amazon announced this week that sales of ebooks on the Kindle had overtaken those of paperbacks at Amazon.com.
No actual numbers, of course, they never seem to share that information, but fascinating nonetheless.
And, certainly, it does seem as if ebooks are making significant inroads into our lives and taking a large chunk of the market. Something we are bound to hear more and more about in the weeks and months to come.
But it is probably worth noting that reading no books at all is still more popular that either print books or ebooks.
Just saying.
I never thought it would happen but I am begining to read ebooks more foten though they still do not give me the same pleasure as holding ana ctual book in my hands while reading.

At least with ebooks there's a chance that a book be on a device a young person already owns (iPods, tablets and the like). That is a move in the right direction for the new generation of kids. This Christmas was the first I heard of the Kindles moving down to being gifts for kids. The lower price helped, I'm sure.

My book is going to be printed as a ebook. I wasnt happy at first, but if thats what customers want. Why not.
