My ebooks are dirt cheap for a limited period.
Fire up your Kindles, your iPads and your Kobos and load them on!
It Is Just You, Everything's Not Shit is as close to free as it is likely to get. Ebook copies will cost you a mere 49p at the moment. I like to describe it as an optimist's encyclopedia, an A-Z of all things nice including David Attenborough's voice, cracking the ice on a frozen puddle and bacon sandwiches. It includes interviews with Oliver Postgate, the man who wrote The Cloudspotter's Guide and the founder of A Quarter Of, the online retro sweet shop. Guaranteed to put you in a good mood or your money back. Not that I will actually give you your money back or anything.
You can download it for Kindle , Apple devices, and Kobo as well as anywhere else that sells ebooks.
My latest book, 21st Century Dodos, is the one I have been banging on about for the past couple of months on this blog. It looks at over 100 (134, to be precise) objects, traditions, experiences and things that are on the verge of extinction.
Things like rotary dial telephones, putting two spaces after a full stop, Ceefax, Texan bars, audio cassettes, ring pulls that come right off the cans, net cord judges and lots of other stuff.
From now till Christmas, the ebook will be 99p. I am hoping lots of people will give it a go and, if they like it, will spread the word.
Again, you can take advantage of this splendid price at the Kindle store, iTunes, Kobo and everywhere else.
Please spread the word, if you can be arsed. Thank you.
I've bought your book for my Dad for Christmas, I reckon he'll like it, especially the technical things. I just hope you don't swear too much in it - he happily swears in person but has a strange aversion to swearing in print!
