I have a story published. In a book.
OK, so it is an ebook but that's still a book.
100 RPM is a collection of flash fiction (really short short stories, for the uninformed) inspired by songs. There are lots of fine contributors. And me.
It has been compiled by novelist Caroline Smailes and has a introduction by none other than Nik Kershaw. It was published yesterday and costs just a couple of pence over £1. All the money made from sales goes to the charity One in Four (a registered charity which provides support and resources to people who have experienced sexual abuse and sexual violence).
It went to #1 in the Amazon Movers & Shakers chart on day of publication, which is quite something, and has managed to avoid sinking without a trace so far today.
My story is called Discoverer and it has been known to make people cry. It is inspired by this song by Australian band Seeker Lover Keeper.
Don't fee obliged to buy a copy for your Kindle but IT IS ONLY A QUID FFS!
Thanks.
"My story is called Discoverer and it has been known to make people cry" Yeah , my fiction has a tenancy to do that to people too!
